Technical.ly Media writes about Saul Ewing’s New Startup Initiative
Technical.ly Philly published a feature on Saul Ewing’s new RAMP™ Initiative (Resources, Access and Mentoring Program), highlighting the program’s goal to collaborate with entrepreneurs to move their businesses forward.
The article mentions the firm’s effort to bring legal advice to the startup community, and notes the firm’s recently acquired office space within the Drexel’s Innovation Neighborhood. Lawyers participating in RAMP will make themselves available for open office hours at One Drexel Plaza inside the Drexel Innovation Neighborhood, and at other institutions within the Saul Ewing footprint.
The firm’s attorneys are making an active effort to integrate RAMP’s available resources into the communities that Saul Ewing aims to serve. Adam Kelson, Chair of the firm’s Technology and Manufacturing Companies Practice and a leader within RAMP, is quoted saying “Part of immersing ourselves in our client’s environment is to really become a part of [their] scene as well.” Kelson goes on to say, “We’re not just parachuting in and out, we are spending time there which really does help.”
