A Year in Review: Article Looks Back on Bevilacqua's Philadelphia Bar Association Chancellorship

As Gabriel L.I. Bevilacqua's term as Chancellor of the Philadelphia Bar Association drew to a close, this article reviewed the highlights of his leadership.

The article focused on Mr. Bevilacqua's efforts to establish a permanent commerce court in Philadelphia, as well as a visit from U.S. Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia, and the revival of the bar association's bench-bar conference. The article also covered Mr. Bevilacqua's efforts to decrease Philadelphia's wage tax and eventually eliminate the city's business privilege tax.
