Sharon Levine, a partner in the Firm’s Bankruptcy and Restructuring Practice, is quoted in this article on how the defamation lawsuit that targets an article on Deadspin is impacting Univision Communications, the purchaser of Deadspin and Gawker Media LLC.

Sharon, who represents the freelancer of the article facing libel charges, says the clause in the Chapter 11 plan protects and releases the author of the charges. She also explains that “There is a fear by the writers that this is a reoccurring problem.”
