PBI 4th Annual Oil and Gas Law Colloquium
Five Saul Ewing attorneys to serve on the faculty for this two-day conference

Joel R. Burcat, chair of the Oil and Gas Practice, is a course planner for this Pennsylvania Bar Institute conference, which has been described as PBI's premier event for oil & gas lawyers. In addition to serving as a course planner, Joel, along with four other Saul Ewing attorneys, will present at the colloquium.

The conference will address key issues and laws governing the Marcellus Play and cover how obtainable gas in the Marcellus Shale has had a huge impact from West Virginia through New York, with Pennsylvania in the middle of this "gold rush."

On September 11, to open the conference, Joel will present a Litigation and Legislative Update from 9:05 to 10:05 a.m.; Robert H. Louis, co-chair of the Personal Wealth, Estates and Trusts Practice, will co-present "Estate Planning for 706 and Non-706 Clients" from 11:30 p.m. until 12:30 p.m.; from 2:20 to 3:20 p.m., George Asimos and Elizabeth Witmer will be among a three-person panel that will present, "Pipeline and Right of Way Issues," and, also from 2:20 to 3:20 p.m., Joel and Andrew Bockis will present a Regulatory Update, which will cover Act 13.
