Basic Estate Tax Planning

Sheldon S. Satisky, a Partner and Co-Chair of the Personal Wealth, Estates and Trusts Practice Group in the Firm's Baltimore office, is on the faculty for this one-day program at the University of Baltimore Business Center. The program is co-sponsored by Maryland Institute for Continuing Professional Education of Lawyers (MICPEL) and the Estate and Trust Law and Taxation Sections of the Maryland State Bar Association (MSBA). Mr. Satisky will discuss tax planning. His presentation will provide an overview of federal estate tax laws, and cover marital deduction trusts and decoupling the state estate tax.

Tuition for the program is $239 for members of the MSBA Estate and Trust Law, Taxation, and Young Lawyers Sections and $259 for MSBA members. Attendees receive 6.5 hours of lecture and discussion, and meals.
