Rockville Emerging Companies Roundtable Discussion, October 16, 2014
If you have ever watched a televised episode of Shark Tank on ABC, you know that the success or failure of an aspiring entrepreneur often is determined not only by his or her vision, but often more importantly, by how it is presented to potential investors, judges and/or clients. We invite you to attend this Roundtable practice your pitch (5 to 10 minutes), to provide feedback to others on their pitches, and to share strategies and real life experiences of pitch failures and pitch successes.
Our thought leaders for this Roundtable are:
- Robert F. Ryan – Chief Executive Officer, IP Crossing
- Jose Ochoa – Vice President, Emergent BioSolutions
- Jacque Allen, Esq. – Member, Saul Ewing’s Private Equity/Venture Capital Practice Group
The Roundtable Discussion will be held at the Institute for Bioscience and Biotechnology Research located at 9600 Gudelsky Drive, Rockville, MD, and is sponsored by The BioMaryland Center and the Institute for Bioscience and Biotechnology Research. The Roundtable sessions will occur from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., with follow-up discussion and networking to continue until 10 a.m. A light breakfast will be provided.
