The Insurance Practice is hosting this half-day workshop on new governance requirements arising out of the NAIC Solvency Modernization Initiative, including the enhanced role of Boards of Directors at both the insurer and holding company level in regulatory reporting. Speakers include the two most recent Associate Commissioners of the Maryland Insurance Administration Examination & Auditing Section, Neil A. Miller and Lester C. Schott.

The workshop will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at The Center Club, 100 Light Street, 16th Floor, in Baltimore. Registration for the Workshop will begin at 8:00 a.m. with breakfast. There will be no charge.

The event is an opportunity for Insurance Company Directors and Senior Management to have a practical and Maryland-focused educational experience on how changes in insurance laws and NAIC initiatives will affect their Boards. For more details, click on the link below to view the agenda.
