​Tara Garcia helps companies navigate matters involving environmental law, including related litigation, transactional, and regulatory compliance work concerning various state and federal environmental laws, such as CERCLA. She also has prior experience with civil litigation, specifically in the fields of media, telecommunications, entertainment, and financial services. While attending Berkeley Law, Tara was an intern with the California Energy Commission in Sacramento, where she worked on matters concerning renewable energy, cultural resources, and energy transmission.

Prior to entering the legal field, Tara served in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve as a motor transport operator and administrative clerk.
