Paul Diamond

For more than 25 years, Paul R. Diamond has concentrated his practice on corporate real estate representation, with an emphasis on handling all aspects of real estate holdings for U.S. and foreign-based multinational corporations. He has advised his clients on the development of industrial real estate, acquisitions, dispositions, leasing and subleasing, dispute resolution, and environmental remediation. In addition, Paul has significant experience representing clients in real estate-related aspects of merger & acquisition transactions and has negotiated a variety of national master services agreements for brokerage services and environmental remediation services. While he typically serves as sole counsel for a client's real estate matters, he is often introduced into problematic situations that local counsel find difficult to resolve, such as the disposition of environmentally contaminated properties.

Among his many achievements, Paul is lead North American real estate counsel for a global UK-based company, and has handled real estate-related aspects of their United States real estate holdings/portfolio work, including the sale of several operating groups, negotiation of various aspects of sale and lease agreements, and the resolution of numerous freehold and leasehold issues. He also successfully represented it in a negotiation of a multisite bonded sale/leaseback arrangement, including extensive negotiations with investor representatives. The project included more than 20 industrial sites in the United States and was valued at approximately $50 million. Additionally, Paul has successfully represented numerous clients in the sale of environmentally contaminated properties in at least 20 states.
