Michael L. Gesas focuses on bankruptcy law in Illinois and Chapter 11 representation in the State of Delaware. Michael represents creditors and commercial debtors in corporate and business reorganizations. His practice includes liquidation proceedings, compositions, assignments for the benefit of creditors, asset acquisitions and sales through the bankruptcy court and other forums, workouts, contract negotiations and related commercial representation and litigation.

Michael is an adjunct professor at the John Marshall Law School. He teaches the real estate law class, "Bankruptcy and Insolvency Laws Affecting Real Estate." He has also been a speaker for the Illinois Institute for Continuing Legal Education and the United States Environmental Protection Agency.
