Kristin E. Niver
Kristin Niver draws on an extensive background in real estate finance and development, and prior training as an urban planner, to represent developers in commercial real estate transactions. Her experience includes market-rate and affordable multi-family housing, condominium, hotel, retail, office, and mixed-use projects, specifically in the Washington, D.C. market. She also negotiates leases on behalf of landlords and tenants in connection with office, restaurant, and retail tenancies.
Kristin also counsels clients engaged in tax-advantaged investing in affordable housing and community development. This work includes representing market-leading banks, community development entities and developers involved in transactions utilizing low-income housing tax credits, new markets tax credits, and historic tax credits, revitalizing distressed and historic neighborhoods nationwide.
