John Marty is a member of the Litigation Department in the Firm's Pittsburgh office. He maintains a general litigation practice and handles a variety of matters involving complex commercial disputes.

While earning his J.D. at University of Pittsburgh School of Law, John was a summer associate for Saul Ewing Arnstein & Lehr, where he was exposed to legal matters involving construction litigation, HIPPA exceptions to Pennsylvania's Right to Know Law and pending regulations for unmanned aircraft systems and tobacco.

Prior to law school, John was a legal intern for a utility company and the Armstrong County District Attorney. He is also knowledgeable about education issues from his past experience as a special education teacher with Teach for America, serving as Illinois State Program Director for Students for Education Reform, and as an intern for Leadership for Educational Equity.
