Jeremiah J. Vandermark
Jeremiah Vandermark assists large and small businesses and municipalities in matters involving bankruptcy, bankruptcy-related litigation and commercial law. His bankruptcy experience includes Chapter 11 proceedings, 363 sales and plans of reorganization, and cases tied to creditor disputes and landlord-tenant matters. He also handles negotiations with creditors’ committees and DIP lenders, and he assists with negotiating loan workouts and defending and restructuring commercial debtors in bankruptcy. His commercial law experience includes litigating disputes involving contracts, fraud, and regulatory and tax compliance.
Prior to entering private practice, Jeremiah worked as an assistant city solicitor for the City of Philadelphia representing government, school district, quasi-public entities and corporations on matters involving bankruptcy and tax litigation.
Jeremiah is a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served as a 2nd Class Petty Officer assisting in the contracting and management of construction projects in Kunar, Afghanistan.
